Italian Chef – Sergio Martelli
Chef Sergio hails from Ancona in Italy and trained to be a chef at a young age in order to indulge his passion for food and cooking. He came to Koh Samui 14 years ago to join a friend and has been here ever since.
He loves the lifestyle on the island and cant imagine leaving. Sergio has worked in well know restaurants in Thailand, his understanding of foreign tastes, combined with his knowledge of Thailand and its people help him run a tight kitchen producing a range of delicacies to tempt diners delights.
Since opening in 2004, Sergio has been heading the kitchen team at The Cliff. He specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, creating inventive seafood concoctions as well as traditional Italian Cuisine with a hint of sophistication.
